# Lidar privacy policy

Lidar collects nothing. It has no analytics, sends no network requests, and has no servers.

- Lidar runs on a page only after you click its icon, press its shortcut, or choose "Inspect with Lidar".
- Your settings (theme, units, rulers) are stored with `chrome.storage.sync`, which your browser may sync to your
  own Google account. Nobody else can read them.
- Screenshots and copied text go to your clipboard or your Downloads folder, and nowhere else.
